Who is responsible for the information
The controller for IsraWheels account and service information is Bar Perlmutter, operating the service from Israel. Privacy enquiries: israwheels@israwheels.com.
Information you provide and information collected during use
An account uses your email address, sign-in identifier and, if supplied, display name and profile image address. We also retain account permissions, sign-in records and service communications. If you make a purchase, we need transaction details and information required to issue a receipt.
Registration is voluntary, not a legal requirement. An email address is necessary to create an account; a display name is optional. You can view the limited public market-data pages without registering.
Technical information, such as an IP address, browser details and access times, may be recorded to operate the site, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. Limited usage measurement helps us understand use of public pages.
How the information is used
We retain the billing details supplied for a purchase, the payment reference and the purchase confirmation. Details needed for transaction documents are shared with the document provider and the intended recipient. Historical business billing details, where supplied, remain part of the transaction record.
We use information to sign you in, manage access, provide support, handle cancellation notices, process purchases where available, meet applicable record-keeping duties and protect the service. Account information is not part of the public vehicle-market data.
Personal settings you choose to save to your account, such as model classifications in your personal view, are stored on the server. Information sent with a service enquiry or cancellation notice is retained to handle it and document its receipt. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Auth0 for sign-in, Microsoft Azure for hosting and PayPal for payments. They receive the information needed for their role and may process it outside Israel. Their own privacy notices may also apply. iCount was previously used for receipt processing; information already sent there may be retained under applicable record-keeping duties. It is no longer used to issue new IsraWheels receipts.
Payment-card details are entered with the payment provider, not in IsraWheels forms. We receive transaction status and reference details, not your full card number or security code. Payment methods available for a purchase are shown before payment.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or a lawful order, or as necessary to handle claims and protect rights, subject to applicable law.
Transaction documents
We use HYP (EZcount) for transaction documents. When a transaction invoice is issued, the billing details provided for it are sent to HYP. The payer’s name and email address, payment amount, currency, date and transaction reference are sent for receipt creation and email delivery. We retain the receipt reference and confirmation of processing. Payment-card numbers and security codes are not sent to HYP by IsraWheels.
Cookies and saved preferences
Authentication and security cookies enable account access. A language cookie remembers your choice for up to one year. Saved brands and some display preferences remain in the browser until you clear them. Account settings saved to the server are stored separately.
You can manage cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Deleting them may sign you out or remove preferences. The site does not use advertising pixels or screen recordings.
Retention and protection
Retention depends on the purpose of the record, the ongoing customer relationship and applicable legal, accounting and dispute-handling requirements. Some records may remain in backups after an account is closed. There is no single deletion date for all information.
We use measures intended to protect information and restrict access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, full card details or identity-document images by email.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to and correction of your personal information under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law by contacting israwheels@israwheels.com. You may also request account closure or deletion of information. Requests are assessed under applicable law and retention duties; closing access does not automatically delete every record.
Vehicle data and policy updates
Vehicle-market information comes from public sources, including the Ministry of Transport. The update brief and its export show aggregate figures, not individual vehicle identifiers. Public source records may contain vehicle identifiers; availability does not authorise every possible use.
